my cough is back.

my fucking pneumonia-ridden, sleep-depriving, voice-stealing, SO-INTENSELY-PAINFUL-THEY-ARE-PHLEGM-VOMIT-INDUCING cough is back.

Loverface is terrified that i have full blown pneumonia now after having finished my antibiotics for it 5 days ago. if i have no voice tomorrow, i’ll go to the doctor again but holy shit am i scared and absolutely not looking forward to that $50 copay again

STF 2017 Day 5

Thankful Thursday - The Law of Attraction expresses that the energy we put out, is the energy we get back. So today, write down in a journal or post here at least 5 things you are thankful for.  

1. Loverface tops the list. I am so thankful for him, our years together, the fact that he and I come together in so many things, our music together, and even our gaming together. 2. MAGFest is next because it starts TODAYYYYY. I’m thankful for this festival where a bunch of people that love video games and the music in them all just get together and hang out for a weekend. It’s the best kickoff to my year. 3. I’m incredibly thankful that the internet has allowed me to watch Hamilton and be entirely addicted to both the original soundtrack AND THE MIXTAPE THAT IS FIRE YALL. 4. My internship. I know that right now I’m pretty cautious and a little anxious about how everything actually happens, but I’m still incredibly grateful that I’m surrounded by a bunch of really caring people. 5. YALL! I’m so thankful that I have friends here that are supportive or that I can just send a nice message to about ANYTHING. Like the weather. Or how ridiculous Canada is. Or how ridiculous Canadian weather is :D

1|15|2018: A barking wake up call via Jane Austen. Cody and I BOTH having the day off! Cody dealing with our real estate agent, loan officer, future gas company, and home inspector from across the country. Me handling our much older landlord and discussing move out procedures. Driving to lunch which was tasty but way more difficult than a simple 1 hour lunch should've been. Driving home to pick up our girls. Hitting up White Sands for the last time in our foreseeable future. Visiting OUR dune. The girls going wild. Driving home for a quick shower and change then heading out to Tularosa for dinner with some real framily. Picking up cheesecake from Lowe's. Getting home and opening the rest of my gifts (Cody spread them out every few hours). Cody singing to me then going to bed because it's nearly 8 PM and he has a 0430 wake up call. Sitting on the couch by myself waiting for laundry to be done so Cody has clean sand tees in the morning. This, all of this right here is what has filled my first 13 hours of being 30. It has been perfect and real and I am grateful. I can honestly say, without a doubt or an inkling of anything but pure unadulterated truth, that turning 30 (or 36 if you're talking to Cody) feels exactly the same as turning 29, 28, 27, 26.... You get the idea. The one thing that IS different, is my intent for this next phase of my life. I have things that I've bottled up in my mind, my heart, and my soul this past year and so many have morphed, leaving those sacred parts of me nearly unrecognizable; that for me, is unacceptable. I will be going forward, upward, onward and doing what I do, saying what I say, and becoming what I so badly wish to become, INTENTIONALLY.
