Okay, let me get this right! A Vernon Halloween fic, Getting closer, Heart & Seoul and an Ateez fic (I vaguely remember you mentioning this...I hope I'm not wrong)!!! Just how many things are you planning to drop on us ?!!? I now speak on behalf of everyone who reads your work, WE APPRECIATE YOU LANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hiiiiiii!!! yes, i tend to work on several things at once because it helps to bounce around (for my short attention span). Vernon fic is coming tonight, and the other three are being written but very close to finished. (plus a few others!) can't wait to share! & THANK YOU!!

Wait the way that Sanchez fic is the first other than the first chapter to hit 200 notes makes me so happy cause it’s the most angsty chapter and I feel like I’ve found my people here 🥹🥹 Either that or it’s the Tallulah Smith effect as anon said but idc I’m here for it either way!

I’ve always wanted these harder themes to be explored, not for sordid enjoyment but because of their real existence and the incredible resilience people in the past have displayed in enduring but also rising above it. I have worse in my drafts, ha, and I’m nervous but before I was terrified this would cut my audience in half and drive away everyone else, truly. I was really nervous about it, and I respect those who didn’t wanna go there with the story but to be so warmly welcomed and encouraged —again, feel like my people, just as you said 😭

Ugh the latest fic. SO GOOD!! Poor Gale has the weight of the world on his shoulders. The way you write them all in the camps is so descriptive and perfect. The conversations between Ida, Smith, and with the boys was so good. Poor Smith. Just doing her best. Another great chapter!! I hope we get to see more Maureen and Gale in the future 🫶🏼

Poor Gale, won’t set down the burden for no one else to take even if it kills him. Thank God Maureen is great at wrestling. 🌚 But tbh, all the feels we have for how we wanna help him…in her own way she’s there for him and gets him through. So soon, we will see more of her, for sure.

Ugh your most recent chapter of Dear John was so good and so heartbreaking. Bucky and Lana are going to have some serious trauma to work out together. I feel like Bucky will be INCENSED when he learns about all the trauma Lana has gone through in her life before him and then after they met. And I can’t wait for him to come back and take her away from that shitshow that is her mother. Great chapter!!

Thank youuuuuu! So glad you liked it, it really felt right that despite her “pretty” life she’d have a substantial amount of history herself, and that she’d have to fight for him in her own way. And that maybe this shared determination and bruised kindness is what’s been subconsciously binding them together in their letters -both very popular people who are devastatingly lonely in their own ways and in their own heads.

Bucky Egan is gonna have a laundry list of people to punch when he gets liberated and it’s gonna be a beautiful thing to see. As is the care and security he provides this dear girl.
