SORRY, so SORRY it took me so long …. @lovesbiggerthanpride also asked for that prompt so … here it is.

Hope you won’t be too disappointed in me - Unbetaed, all mistakes are mine.

Prompt 31 is :” Stop biting that fucking lip!”

“Stop it, Katniss.” Peeta says. The problem is, I have no clue what he’s talking about. We’re both working on the essay we have to give back on Monday, and I struggle with finding the right words. As usual.

I decide to pay no attention to what he says, instead deciding to give this paragraph one last shot. How do I explain with simple words the difference between attraction and love? Sure I could write “I was at first attracted by Peeta, but now I’m pretty sure I love him.” but A/ I’m really not ready to admit that to my friend because he doesn’t feel that way and B/ if question, refer to answer A.

Yeah, I really can’t.

“Katniss. Stop. It.” Peeta’s voice is louder. I shrug it off. When he’s decided to tell me what bothers him, I’ll stop. Until then….

I start writing about laws of attraction, because why not, when Peeta’s interrupts my rather brilliant train of thoughts.

“Stop biting that fucking lip!” He almost growls. I didn’t even realized I was doing it. But I have no clue why it makes him that mad.

“Why? I didn’t do anything bad?”

“It’s distracting…” Peeta says. I can’t believe my ears. Why would it be distracting if I bit my lip? It’s my lip, I do whatever I want with it, right? Right.

“Distracting? How so?”

I see Peeta sigh as he rakes his hands through his hair, before looking straight into my eyes. I’ve never felt the warmth of blue eyes before, and boy, do I want to feel it again. And again.

“You have no idea, the effect you have….” He says, before he leans closer to me on the table. “It’s distracting because …. because I want … because I’d like my lips to be on yours !”

Oh. OH. wow.

“Then why don’t you do it?” I suprise myself, sometimes.

He does.

Fitz is flawed but full of hope. Even with his messed up upbringing as a privileged white man/politician's son, he doesn't shy away from receiving and sharing love, as well as helping others. It's naive, but still charming. To me, he has shown the most growth of all the characters in the show. I enjoy reading stories that focus on that growth. Usually, when given the chance, he makes adjustments. Then, he's able to do and be better for Liv, family, and friends. That's why I love Fitz. :)
