        its been close to six years since she’s seen him last.  yes,  there were check - ups after lulu was born,  and the all - hell raising diner drop - ins with francine,  but time had worn on.  after residencies and scheduled appointments had come to a close,  jenna found herself growing okay with the fact that she may never see him again.  he’s here  ALONE  now,  promptly seated in her section,  sticking out like a sore thumb among the rest of jenna’s regulars.  she hands little lulu off to dawn,  and asks becky to bus tables five and six  -  as she has the  SINKING FEELING  that this order will take her a bit longer than most.  sucking in her classic deep breath,  she approaches,  not even bothering to take out her pen and paper.   ❝   - dr. pomatter ?!  ❞   her voice is a hushed yell,  first name once again dropped.  some things never change.
