This was probably written to be funny. In real life, Brothas need to know and throw their worth around too. I know a lot of good brothas that end up in bad situations because men aren't taught to honor & value themselves in the way that we have been taught to. I think that's a shame. I'll be the first to tell you, I treat you according to your value (even if you don't see it as I do). I treat a King as such, a man as such, and grown boys...I just won't entertain if they aren't interested in growth and change. If you're raising boys, teach them to value everything from their hearts to the shirts covering their chest. Raise them up in a way that they know and can explain why they are worthy of healthy love. Make them know that worth from their crowns to their soles. There are too many good men walking around here accepting b.s from broken women, because they were conditioned to. Because they watched their broken mothers love up on broken men, they figure this means a broken women is capable of healthily loving them.
