i will be honest and say as much as lyt is a god-send and sea is unequivocally by favourite bangtan song by far, i think that its message and intent outweighs its execution. i think the concepts were pretty and Conceptual and abstract but lacked the punch of the dark&wild, hyyh proper, and even (as much as u hate it) wings eras. there was no grounding in a strong human storyline visually as there was in those previous ones and in that sense i appreciate the experimentation and i think it’s some of their best songwriting, but as an ERA? is she truly iconic? im afraid the banker says no

my opinion is that i love them, i think the fact that they have vocalists like haseul chuu and ms lip in the same group is like incredible but i don’t think they’re making the most of what is a really versatile group dynamic! i just want more variety like i think if there was more influence from the 1/3 side of things, more jams like love letter and sonatine, they would be as well-rounded and brilliant as i just KNOW in my HEART that they can be and also i miss them so much :(
