      “ what did i do at the festival? ” he repeated the question with an overeager grin. the wolf had a lot of self-made fun at the big spring event. “ got to kiss a girl that hate’s me, teased her not? boyfriend about it, made a totally awesome romeo for a scene and --- uh scared some people by flashing my fangs at them. small stuff but man it was a blast ! ” he exclaimed, reliving each memory with a wide smile on his face.

viola reached out to feel the heat coming off the fireplace, a beautiful feature of her childhood home that had likely never before been used in april. usually the wood would be gathered before winter, but now they had to send people to fetch the logs in what felt like the dead of december and she felt a little guilty. being born a royal hardly made someone innately good at telling others what to do. it helped that her mother wasn’t royal born and raised her not to take anyone or anything for granted. and speaking of which...she smiled over at her sister. “so have they cancelled classes because of the weather yet? or maybe it lined up with spring break?? that would be kind of funny, in a...this-could-only-happen-in-auradon kind of way.”
