Sick.

I got sick on the first day of my surgery pracs - being sick and maintaining sterility during a simulated surgery is not fun. But alas, I pulled through and managed to not pass out during the 6 hour saga that was an exlap and castrate and intense revision of all the anatomy I had forgotten. 

Thanks to M for taking care of me through it all. I’m so sorry you got sick, and I wish I could come over and take care of you. Thankyou for letting me toss and turn my way through the night, and for trying your best to keep me comfortable. I owe you so much. 

It’s only week 4, and I’m already struggling to keep up. It’s in these moments that I regret taking a year off. So much to do, so little time.
