Yesterday I met someone who was brave enough to share his story. I was instantly sobered by thoughts of those we have lost over the years to HIV / Aids. Some made decisions that change their lives forever and the lives of their families and friends. In this day and age, we have meds that help prevent the spread of this virus, which is a huge victory. But nevertheless, we still have our youth and young adults making decisions under the influence of a substance or social media. Folks are still trusting blindly the answer of a sex partner. The conversation is not over for me.
