Lowmoon- "Vacant Youth" single (Safe Suburban Home)
I see this UK bunch had an LP out earlier this year and one in 2024 too ….and I'm trying to remember if I'd reviewed anything by them before (you'd think I'd remember).
Anyway, they have a new record coming out in early 2026 on the ultra-fine Safe Suburban Home label, and this first single is a melodic gem.
Reminding me a little of the melodic sensibility of Chicago band Humdrum (Slumberland) with some new wave cool, and voila!, you have "Vacant Youth" Don't miss the video below, too.
