Tembo Drops Mixtape

LISTEN HURRRRR!!!!!

Tembo is the lovechild of young 20-something cousins Ben Lindsay (aka Lowbo) and Michael Draghi based out of New York City. Both are originally from SoCal and have been making music together since last summer. Tembo is what Lindsay calls, "raved-out, psychadelic hip-hop beats," filled with some spooky synths and fuzzy bass lines. 

They just dropped this mixtape yesterday, and basically its a little tease to their EP they're releasing this fall. The mixtape is a blend of glimpses into 8 of their tracks that have been in compilation since last November. Initially they were going to put rappers on all of their tracks, but the mixtape on their soundcloud is purely instrumental-- let's just say the beats can speak for themselves. 

The word "chill" has inevitably lost its definitive meaning over the last couple years, but, on the real, their beats are just honestly chilllll in the purest form of the word.
