In this image, we can see that there are 2 men and they are holding a board that says how many people were killed by a police officer. Just in the board, we can see 30 people who’ve been victims of police brutality, but they are a lot more that are being killed daily by the police, just because of their skin color.

We’re a Tumblr account who focuses on achieving equality and justice. We want for black people to be treated as humans. We as a black people’s rights group, want to end police brutality and fatalities, end those stereotypes against black people and help them achieve their rights. We want to have a better future, where we can all live peacefully. we chose a powerful and strong name to deliver our message. By saying “Lower The Gun” we are saying:  “stop killing innocent people”, we are saying “think before shooting”, we are saying that we are tired of police brutality. 

We’re seeking for black people’s rights, therefore we want to use our account as a messenger of freedom and liberty. Through our posts, we want to express our opinions about police brutality and black people’s rights. As our motto says: 

Fight for the nation. Fight for our rights. Fight for our lives
