She specializes in low-force adjusting and in low-impact training. Early in her career, while her husband was active duty in the US Air Force, she practiced in the states of Nevada, California, Kansas, and Virginia. When he retired from military service, they settled permanently in her home state of New York, where she continues to practice. This is her first non-fiction book; however, she has authored two previous works. In 2007, she published a review article to enhance inter-professional knowledge, titled, “Complementing Chiropractic Philosophy with Science,” in the Peer Reviewed Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research. In 2012, she balanced her science bent with her love of fantasy, and self-published a novel, Stanlin and Sylvia, best suited for those with curiosity about aliens and criminal minds, love for animals, and empathy for misfits.
