Dear friends, today i'd like to share 3-4posts for pitch you one model which makes us Excel and Exist in the UPS industry for 30years:That is JY series Low frequency transformer based UPS (1-30kva 1/1, 3/1Phase). **The biggest feature of it is : we adopt pure SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) rectifier, compared to traditional Bridge-design diode or partial SCR+Diode control, our rectifier can be programmed and controlled. This is very important and reliable because under SCR control, the BUS voltage is stable no matter how unstable voltage comes from the Mains Input Grid. Rectifier can be controlled. Inverter and capacitors are safe and stable. Question: How can i distinguish the low frequency UPS i bought is adopt diode control or SCR rectifier controlled? There is a very simple way by doing that is battery discharge test. --By SCR controlled, the rectifier can be turn off, that means you can doing the battery discharge test on the LCD display directly, it is very convience for our site engineer doing the batttery discharge test in some critical area which not allow the AC power source break our such as Bank, Hospital etc (battery Test on LCD screen shared in below photo) . --While if by Diode control, you can't turn off the rectifier independent,you have to turn off the mains Grid, not user friendly as you may have to wait to turn off the breaker in some area that not allow the mains grid power off.
