Starter for Grace @lowkeyouat
She hadn’t expected the first person she’d see in this new realm would be a very lonely looking little girl, sat by herself on the docks on a grey, cold Maine day. Now, Ariel was here with a purpose, there was something or other that she was meant to be collecting from a man in order to strike up a deal, but her heart just hurt to see the girl looking so positively down in the dumps. Clasping her newly retrieved bracelet around her wrist, Ariel waited until the magic took effect, before carefully pulling herself up onto the wooden surface of the dock, stepping over to the girl cautiously, hoping not to startle her.
“Hello there, I don’t mean to bother you, but are you alright? You seem a little upset is all, and I hate to see anyone sad. I’m Ariel, by the way.”
Remembering a long forgotten piece of information from Snow, Ariel tried for an approximation of a proper greeting. This would have been fine if it wasn’t for the fact that the only formal greetings she’d experienced were back in the Enchanted forest, where it was less shaking hands and more bows and such. So, Ariel picked up the end of her bedraggled skirt, dropping into a surprisingly fluid curtsy as she smiled at the girl.
