Junior Web Programmer Requirements:

2-4 years of web development experience with PHP and MySQL.

Working knowledge with various PHP based frameworks such as CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Zend, etc

A working knowledge of JQuery, AJAX, and DHTML.

Social Networking integration knowledge using any one of the following: FBML, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube API’s.

Working knowledge with simple Linux (CentOS, Fedora) operating system administration; comfortable with command line/SSH administration.

The ability to produce rock-solid, hand-coded XHTML and CSS.

Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.

SNR .NET DEVELOPER

Reporting to the Applications Development Superintendent you will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement and support the software deployed by the ICT team by performing effective analysis, design, development and testing to meet the requirements of the department and the users of the systems.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• At least 4 years of experience working in .Net Development, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

• Proven Experience in the design, development, integration, testing & deployment of web applications using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, WPF, jQuery, HTML and CSS.

• Strong Knowledge of source control tools such as SVN.

• Deep understanding of relational database design of MS SQL database.

• Strong knowledge of all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

• Ability to create a technical specification from a functional specification.

• Experience with working in an environment that is tracked via an incident management tool.

• Knowledge of ITIL practices desirable.
