Nanopower Semiconductor has rolled out its award-winning nPZero power-saving IC, designed to dramatically reduce energy consumption in battery-powered and energy-harvested IoT devices. The ultra-low-power chip can autonomously manage sensors while keeping the host microcontroller powered down, waking it only when specific events occur—helping cut system energy use by up to 90%. With support for multiple sensors and ultra-low nanowatt operation, the solution enables longer device lifetimes and more efficient deployments across applications such as smart cities, smart buildings, agriculture, and industrial monitoring.
