Mine is when they off the bat make characters super trope-y/ cliche. Like for example with aot, Sasha is ALWAYS eating, Armin is ALWAYS just a nerd studying, Jean is ALWAYS this playboy with a crush on you. And there’s nothing wrong with cliches at all, there are ways to make it work but sometimes they reduce the characters to just archetypes.

oh yeah i definitely get what you're saying. that's annoying to me too LMAO, i definitely get characterizing a character for a certain story to be a certain way but making characters superficial and act cliche for no reason is lowkey my cue to exit.............
