the force was different in this galaxy, this universe, what have you. there was no way for aalaya to properly describe it to anyone. it was an extension of her; another sense, another limb that she could use. most of the people surrounding her felt unfamiliar in the force, people and energies that she’d never encountered before. there were others that felt like her, in touch with the force and able to move it at will. and then, there was one so entirely familiar, it made her want to scream. she’d felt him pass her by a few times before, felt his presence practically radiating through the walls of the resort. the mandalorian was here. presumably, to drag her back to her captor. disgusting. and to think, she’d thought she’d loved him at one point.
even in this room, surrounded by hundreds of others, she can feel the pulse of his force energy. all living creatures have that energy. pulse thumps wildly in her chest as her eyes scan the room before settling on the back of a head that’s far too familiar. one that she has touched, has run her fingers over. she snarls. raising two fingers, she shifts them slightly so the force pushes against his jaw and causes his head to move. her eyes lock onto his and her throat tightens slightly. you loved him. she buries the thought. “ din. ” yet, her mouth does not move. the word is projected through the force from her mind to his. she’s saving his identity. maybe she still does care. // @loyaltyresolute
