Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, everyone who is or was ever involved in any way with the creation and/or preservation of The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets.

You have no idea how much it means to me to be able to play this game. For it to still exist in a playable form, at all. The amount of work that it must've taken to preserve and restore this lost gem is mind-boggling.

I love LoZ games and so far this one is no exception. I just finished chapter/week one the other day and I had so much fun. It's so special to feel like you're really in the LoZ world, with the clock ticking down, the world changing in real time, and events happening based on actual time spent in the world rather than your progress in the game.

This game feels alive and organic in a way that I haven't experienced in any other video game. I truly feel like a hero that was sent to save Hyrule in Link's absence, like Hyrule is an actual place that follows the flow of time rather than a collection of pre-scripted events to encounter at your leisure.

Events happen whether you're ready for them or not, whether they're convenient for you or not. Sometimes an event will happen where you have to drop everything and rush in the opposite direction you were planning to go because priorities have changed. And that adds a really special kind of immersion.

Again, thank you, so much, for dedicating so much time and effort to keeping this game alive and available for people to play. I thought it was just a neat relic before, but now that I've played some of it, I more fully understand the beauty of what we almost lost forever.

To those of you curious about the game, if you have a little bit of technical know-how, you can follow this link to find everything you need to set up and play it. I would highly encourage you to do so. Especially if you're a fan of classic top-down Zelda, this game is well worth the effort to set it up.
