This goes out to my all-time favorite band who lost a great singer, friend, idol, father, husband, brother last July 20, 2017. (this design*not the original *I have it on fb* I made this last 2012, supposed to be a button pin but I never got the chance to make it.)
I never got the chance to watch you’re concert here in the Philippines last 2013 because I was only a 3rd year college student and I lived in the province that’s why it’s hard if you’re from afar. All I can do that time is watch the news of the band arriving and some interviews. I was soo happy ‘coz you’ve come here in my country even though I wasn’t able to see you performed live. I was really hoping that on your next concert which you say probably 2017 I will be able to come because during that time I will already have a work. I have all the copies of your song from debut album to present. I remember I always watch out for the Transformers Movies ‘coz you’ve sang their OST’s. Whenever they say Transformer I knew Linkin Park. I got excited when I heard that you released an album last May. Which as usual I get the copy of the album.
But the sad part is it end here in 2017 on my birthmonth, you took your life by hanging. All my hopes on seeing you perform live crumbled. I don’t know what will happen in the future but I hope the ones that you have left behind will keep moving. Maybe not today but someday we can all move on, on this tragic loss.
