its time for a serious chat y’all

i think after doing a few things i’ve been meaning to do for a while,,,, its time to let this au go. and probably all of my sanders sides stories. (even tho i still absolutely love Thomas & his team and the shows and everyone i’ve met through this fandom)

this past year Mark and Ethan (markiplier & crankgameplays on youtube & twitch) who are two of my biggest inspirations/comfort youtubers helped me a lot with my problem of not being able to let things go/being terrified of change. i hate endings. i loathe them with a passion. they scare me. i desperately want things i love to go on forever. but thats not possible. and those two dorks taught me that its okay to move on. and that it’s also okay to be scared about it.

they posted content on the Unus Annus [redacted] channel every. single. day. for an entire year. content they were passionate about and had emotional attachments to. and they deleted everything. the goal from the very beginning was to let it all go. they made their peace with it.

im trying to learn how to do the same. its something im gonna have to do so i can focus on achieving the bigger and better things i want to do with my life.

i’ve been doing this au for three years now. almost four. its been so so much fun. but its just not the same anymore. its too draining. it has to end eventually. and i think that time has officially come. its gonna fucking suck. its gonna hurt even. i almost started crying writing this. but i know one day im gonna be able to feel okay with this decision. and maybe thats cheesy but idk i like to think some of you (especially those here since the very beginning) are gonna be feeling kinda the same way.

don’t worry too much tho im not gonna go full UA and delete the entire blog or some of its content. its still gonna be here for you guys to look back on and maybe new people to browse through. and who knows maybe i’ll even take my ocs Devin & Coda and do something different with them someday. i don’t think its their time to go just yet.

but yeah. on August 24th, the fourth anniversary, i will be abandoning this blog for good. updates and random posts from the characters before then will be sporadic but i will do my best to give it a proper ending. you guys deserve at least that after everything.

memento mori, my friends. thank you for everything. its been fun.
