So I got into lifesteal recently, specifically I started watching rekrap, and there’s something I noticed that’s kinda stuck in my mind
In Reks video where he’s learning to fight, he repeats something that Manepear told him; “if somebody beats you, keep playing them until you can beat them back”
I know Manepear gave him that advice but also, that’s kind of how Rek is with everything if that makes sense
Like in his adventure mode video. He can’t light the portal? Okay, he goes back until he can. Doing that would corrupt all his progress? Travel until the chunks are out of range. Or even his projects on lifesteal! People find the tunnels? Make more! Entrances are too obvious? Upgrade! Over and over again it’s there, whether it’s moving his team’s base, or building intricate machines he’s never tried before and fucking them up, he’s changing things until they work.
It’s something he exhibits in a lot of the videos I’ve watched and I think it’s interesting! Whenever he runs into a problem, he’ll do his damndest to get his goals done anyways, no matter how difficult or convoluted, and I think that’s a character trait in LS!Rek that would be super cool to explore :)
