Sugden LS21 Two-Way Tuned Quarter Wave Floor Standing Loudspeakers

The Sugden LS21 Loudspeakers are available in Cherry, Walnut and Maple real wood veneers. Due to the LS21's bespoke process other finishes are available by special order.  All Sugden products are designed and hand-made in England.

The LS21 is a tuned quarter wave design and uses a treble and mid/base driver ported through the plinth. The cabinet is compact but not compromised, being domestically acceptable in both modern, period style homes and apartment living, at less than 1 metre (just over 3 feet) and less than 23 centimetres (9 inches) wide.

Naturally, the cabinets are manufactured in-house by Sugdens highly skilled cabinet maker. This includes all aspects of construction from machining to veneering. Sugden has a joinery workshop which operates harmoniously alongside the custom electronics engineering workshop.

Smooth internal air flow is an important aspect of the quarter wave design, so the crossover is not mounted internally in the cabinet like most designs but housed in the loudspeaker plinth. The components used in the crossover are audiophile quality, manufactured by Mundorf Germany.

The result is a unique loudspeaker capable of producing stunning realism in any top notch audio and/or video system.
