My Knight
Since artfight is coming up decided that I’d actually draw my OCs again. Drew Kris bc he IS the main character and I feel like I have him down the most but it does make me feel like I’m not giving enough love to my other characters TuT
Anyhoo this was, as I said, to draw more OC stuff before artfight but also to do a little introspection on Kris’ identity and character
Wanted to do style exploration bc my lecturers seem to think my art look better when it’s pretending to be analog not digital and you know what. They may have a point.
The text reads as:
Do you believe that there is a beginning? That there is an end? Is this battle eternal?
Do you look to the rising sun and believe in victory? How can you not?
What is this fight without hope? Hope is the light in darkness.
It pushes you forward for you to serve your duty.
Do not succumb to the abyss. Fight.

Really hope this now presents her as more than a warrior, that you can get some other info about her.

really like this piece of Katy, although something felt off but I think that’s because that it doesn’t has as much stuff going on like in Kris’. Hopes this does come off as her being a warrior…
was thinking about putting butterflies in it (good ol’ symbolism) but they didn’t really fit.
I don’t like this one so I’ll just leave it here
Wanted to have her wear a cute bikini I saw on Instagram but it just wasn’t working…. wanna just get rid of this so I can work on something better

fiddled a bit with this one making sure the clouds were visible and that the rain looked like rain. not entirely sure of the small details - don’t get me wrong I do like them built I feel that something is missing still…. oh well
