The twins doomed to misery…
Didn’t really plan this out so any sort of symbolism is very vague but if it’s there. The two of the do NOT have a fun future
Also both are meant to be red but I forget and made Luis blue 💀💀

Go on cowboy....
The music and sound of feet across the wooden floor obscured the sound of the wooden door opening.
A group of men. Armed.
Guns hidden under coats and knives tucked into belts. They commanded the floor. People scurried to get out their way.
The floor creaked by a table. The four men blocked out the light, hiding the hunched figure. A bottle of whiskey and a glass sat in front of him.
"Boot it son, your times up."
The figure didn't acknowledge them.
"You deaf or something?" The man waived a hand in his direction. He motioned to his friends. The group sneered, mocking the man's idiocy.
"Do you not know who we are?"
The figure's head shifted slightly. "Sí."
His voice was quiet. The men stilled. Only few spoke Spanish in this building, the majority European.
"Finally got the courage to come here Ramon?" The leader jeered. His friend behind joined in, cheering.
One just behind spoke up. "I didn't think they booked flights to your corner of the globe anymore. You swim here?"
Movement. Slight. Agitated.
His eyes could just about be seen in the dim light, flickering under the brim of his hate. A glint. Danger.
"Look cowboy-"
"Do you think I am a cowboy?"
The man hesitated, taking a second to re-evaluate. "What do you mean you?"
The figure stood. Light began to pour over him as he stepped from the dark. Head low and shoulders squared but relaxed. His coat was battered and slunk off the chair. His baldric came to view, each bullet attached shining in the light. Rough and unloved. Powerful and untrusting.
He lifted his head.
"Boss..." One of the henchman shrivelled in on himself. The others stepped back.
The room was quiet, all watching the event unfold.
"I thought you left..."
The figure raised his head.
"....Luis."
One assertive step then another, the heel of the shoe thumping on the floor.
He leant into the face of the other man, locking eyes.
"Scram."
Uneven steps and scrapping shoes heralded their exit.

1) Luis is willing to be degraded bc he is slowly losing a grip on who he is and believes that he deserves to be bombarded with such things.
2) Luis is not good with sitting still, something that stems from childhood trauma and always needing to be alert
3) The solutions to issues are readily available but the method of solving them is where the difficulty lays.
4) trauma
5) trauma
luis and ramon are the same as dean and sam in the way that they are both reasonably fucked up from the same event but in different ways.
luis can be socially removed, ominously standing to the side whose plans are a little too dangerous to be perfectly efficient. he is the scraggly mutt you dragged in who hates life. each attempt to scrub himself cleans just leaves him with more fragments of hate. he wants to be his brother - his brother seems happier.
ramon is more charistmatic, more popular. people like him. but he remembers their looks, how they treated him just because he knew others simply by affiliation. he does it for his brother, he can see the pain in his eyes, but it doesn't help the look of hostility he thinks he can see.
Luis and Ramon are twins so naturally they've shared a very similar experience but I think that they would stick by each other's side bc they know what the world is like and how violent ppl are.
Ramon was in the middle of mages fighting so saw more of the devastation that was caused by the hotspots which ignited past conflicts. I think he carries a lot of trauma bc of it but doesn't speak of it much to anyone besides Luis since he knows that his brother understands. That's where his cocky and boisterous attitude comes from since he's trying to see the better side of humanity. He's sick of that prejudice and just wants people to live freely.
Luis is the quieter one even though he's older. He too caries his own trauma since, unlike his brother who was more involved, Luis saw the bigger picture of the community being torn apart. He's seen how just a small part of it affected his brother and quietly fears his loss. He'd be very realistic, knowing not to be overly optimistic as he knows that life isn't very giving. He sees community effort being the way to peace, to forgive past arguments bc if not then the cycle will continue. He also carries quite a lot of disillusionment with him too. He gives grounded advice since part of him believes that the Crisis won't ever end even if he desperately wants it - henceforth it's better to aid those who need it.
