Let's See How Far We've Come
"Jade, you went too far! I could have drowned!" John was in the process of drying off after being unceremoniously dropped into the water on LoLaR. The process was sped up drastically due to his command over wind, but it didn't mean he wasn't going to be on her case for a little while.
"Oh c'mon John, I told you I was testing something out. I'm sorry, really! And I don't think randomly drowning would have counted as a Heroic or Just death anyway, y'know." Jade frowned. She really did feel bad about it though. Her mind flickered back to the other John that she had just gotten done visiting.
Before she could finish her thought, she felt a rough jolt. It almost felt as if the ship had collided with something in midair.
"What was that? Hold on a minute, John." Before he could reply, she teleported out to the deck.
Something was definitely wrong. She slowed the ship down to a halt, making sure to compensate forces during rapid deceleration so everyone didn't end up as pancakes. The golden battleship was suspended in space, and she could now take in the surroundings. Unfamiliar stars dotted the inky blackness all around her. They definitely couldn't have crashed through the other fourth wall so soon, so where were they? What happened?
