I completely know this was not op’s intentions,or at least not primordially but as a football fan, and having seeing most of Spanish Nation Football Team matches I can’t tell your how accurate this actually isf or Louis.
Because Xavi Hernández, who last season played for the last time in Can Barça (FC Barcelona) and has since then retired from the NT and sign a contract with a team for Qatar (Al-Sadd Sports Club).
This person, Xavi, is a midfielder, which, in a really general way, means that he is the one that, while not scoring a great a mount of goals, directs their way to play.
Xavi, who has for the longest time been a ‘second captain’ for the NT and FCB (with Iker Casillas being the captain of the Spanish Team, and Carles Puyol, the one for Barça until he retired in 2013, leaving the position of captain to him, Xavi), is the Brain of the team (and short, around 1′70m).
AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT LOUIS DOES. FOR YEARS. PROBABLY SINCE THE BEGINNING OF ONE DIRECTION.
Because how many times has he been named the leader, not just in a funny or joking way, and not just by the boys. By people working around him, people who meet him briefly. Come on! He proves it everyday! When he is able too look for a girl band a plan a charity ball (with some help of course) and when he keeps doing events for charity and when he starts his own record label and still, has time to write songs for his own band.
He moves them, he directs them business wise. He is their leader even when people can’t see it!
