170121 Lithuania’s National Eurovision events:
Gytis Ivanauskas, a famous actor and dancer, choreographer, makes the whole Lithuania go wild by making a surprise performance as a drag queen Lolita Zero. (He has never appeared in drag before)
By the verdict of judges and the popular vote, Lolita Zero was the leading performance of the night!
Pictured above is hostess Ieva fangirling about Gabrielius's hair to hostess Gabrielė. Sidenote: this is the first time in Lithuanian TV history that two women are hosts without a man and this is on National Broadcaster. (Two men as hosts for first time was at this year's Golden Voice project also showed on our national channel)
Today's report is cancelled
So today there will be no Lithuania's Eurovision report as I have guests over and am a bit drunk. However, we still watched Eurovision and I can tell you a drag queen is in the lead. It was the best thing I saw. Will share her performance later~
170114 Lithuania's National Eurovision event: Lawreigna performing "Freedom". If I'm not mistaken she finished last at this week's show and doesn't qualify further. The performance sort of reminds me of Greece type of thing...
170114 Lithuania’s National Eurovision events: Here is a video of Rugilė performing her song “Perkūne ugniaveidi” (Thunder(god) fire-face). The performance that was commented by the judges as chaos.
Note: the song is part English, part Lithuanian. She also did not qualify further.
I'd just like to appreciate that Darius Užkuraitis (with glasses) has moved his chair closer to Ramūnas Zilnys (far left) for the second week in a row, which is awesome because Darius is a cinammon roll and Ramūnas is savage af. I support their friendship.
Pictured here: 1) Hostess Ieva with Gabrielius with his hair™ that is everyone's weakness. 2) Hostess Gabrielė that looks absolutely bomb this week. 3) My favourite person in all Lithuania, our Eurovision commentator, Darius Užkuraitis.
