i listened to this one oologies episode about maritime archeology and it reminded me of youuu they talk abt shipwrecks debunk myths and talk about the great lakes too! I'm honestly in awe that its like. a profession. never crossed my mind one could be an archivist... of shipwrecks... woag....

When I was watching the suckening I was like literally 100% unironically im like "Why is Emizel literally just Kaneki if he wasn't a soft nerd" like the plot is SO similar like It seems like im grasping at straws but I was literally like if the suckening was about ghouls and not vampires it would be tokyo ghoul. HEHEHEE
oh btw speaking of gothic books, just remembered that in the sandman (by e. t. a. hoffmann), one of the characters is an automaton! methinks you'd maybe enjoy that. besides, tis spooky! (and yes, you can probably look at it w a statement perspective, as w most gothic stories giggles)
