Nothing has happened yet. Absolutely nothing. But Raoul feels a disturbance (one solely of his own making and in his own head) and he's......mad.
Luc is tired and demands a vacation from dealing with this hothead. Very...tired.

Despite himself did Vital only reply initially to the other’s statement with a laugh. It wasn’t one of genuine enjoyment, but rather a hollow, derisive sound, unclear if it was aimed at the other man or at himself. They were off to a great start, weren’t they? He knew better and to act more professionally – but after so many years of working, it afforded him the ability to simply be as irreverent as he often felt. Clients who wanted a facade of politeness from him were ones he’d prefer not to work with in the end anyways.
“Am I? My watch says it’s still the exact time we agreed upon.” Amethyst gaze darted only momentarily to the recently-extinguished cigarette, remnants of its tar-and-tobacco scent lingering in the air. This man was stressed, just two words and a bit of nicotine betrayed as much. Maybe it wouldn’t take much button-pushing to get this tightly coiled spring of a man undone, but he’d do it after receiving the proper job information, perhaps just for fun.
“Maybe you’re just impatient.” With that did he give a bit of a shrug, shoving a hand into his pocket, the other placed comfortably upon his hip as he leaned against the nearby wall. “But I’m here, so let’s get down to business. You need someone dead, and I’m good at that. I’m surprised you’re reaching out to a contractor like me. Is the target maybe someone you know personally?”
Ugh. Luc wants to groan outloud but Kieran always said it was bad practice when meeting new people. ‘This is why you don’t have a lot of friends.’ The boys voice rings in his skull and makes him sigh to himself. But cocky guys like this that thought they knew everything made him want to walk away and go play in traffic.
Or get a few strong drinks in him then go to sleep. Whatever.
He levels the guy with the least irritated glare he can muster, doing his best to channel his younger brother’s energy and be polite. Overrated he thinks...
“I don’t know the guy at all. I was hired just as you. I usually have a guy who I’ll drag to help me but he’s busy so I’ve requested you. Don’t make me regret it.”
Well that was satisfying.
Heyyy Luc, you should draw your girlfriendddd!~ (Lilly)
I’m dating Maria.
But, if you insist upon Lilly, I suppose I can provide.
Bluh bluh bluh.
