I just noticed Eliott said "I'll rent this boat again for our wedding", implying that he actually did pay for the boat and didn't break in like Lucille said. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a way to show further that you need to actually listen to Eliott about Eliott's things instead of Lucille deciding for him (since in the same sentence Lucille also threw out the whole Eliott doesn't love Lucas bomb), or if this is supposed to imply a symptom of his oncoming mania episode (excessive spending is a symptom if I remember back to my psych classes, but please correct me if I'm wrong)

Y’all are tripping if you really think Lucas did something wrong here.

Like the girl who is new to their lives and he doesn’t fully trust yet gets close to Elliot and they are good friends. And Lucas is worried because they both have MI’s. He voices these concerns to the girl and she says she doesn’t plan on doing anything that will affect his MI. Lucas gives her his trust on this. Next thing you know he’s being called to the police station where Elliot is drunk and right after a fight.

Pissed off would not cover any of what I would feel.

I think everyone forgets that in moments of intese emotions people can lash out. Adding on that both Lucas and Lola are teenagers makes it worse. Emotions are already high and then the person he loves is hurt. I would’ve reigned hell.

Even if you want to argue it wasn’t technically her fault or whatever he thinks it is.

elliot was getting anxious talking about what was likely a vulnerable situation of his and he looked to lucas, his comfort, his safety, the one person who knows him better than absolutely anyone else for reassurance

and then lucas just shakes his head like it’s ok bb you don’t need to address this, this does not need to be gone into depth in front of anyone else if you don’t feel comfortable with it because you do not owe anyone an explanation of your feelings and this can stay between just the two of us I understand you and I’m here for you and I’ll take care of you, you don’t need to talk about this

and he’s just so protective and understanding of elliot it really warms my heart how much lucas has evolved and how much their relationship has evolved they understand each other better than ever before and there’s just this newfound intimacy and comfortability that’s too hard to describe
