Lark is wrapping up a few things back at Eleanor’s when he hears a knock on the backdoor. That’s odd, the only person who usually comes by this late is Luke, but he usually just walks right in. Another knock comes and he cautiously approaches the door and opens it. As he emerges into the night air he sees something flutter off into the sky. Is it... a bat? He looks to either side for any sign of someone else, then moves forward only for his foot to hit something crumpled in a heap on the back steps. It takes him a moment to realize what he’s looking at and then he drops to his knees in a panic, “Luke! Oh my god...” Gingerly, he pulls the seraph into the restaurant, leans him up against the nearest wall, and closes the door behind them. “Luke! Stay with me, okay? I’m going to need you to keep your eyes open while I grab a first aid kit. Can you do that for me?”

One week exactly had passed since Grayson felt his life fall apart at the seams, sitting in the back of that squad car. Now he was suspended, all but banned from the hospital entirely, and awaiting a court case to determine his fate. His lawyer had warned him that if the court was feeling particularly vengeful, there was a small chance he could be slapped with a felony, but there a misdemeanor was more likely since it was his first offense. Still, he was rattled, miserable, and terrified for the future - but more terrified of getting himself into more trouble.

The idea of going to the one thing he’d stood against for so long had bounced around in his head for a couple of days now, but as the news circulated in whispers about the rival MC and the arson attack, Grayson’s mind flip-flopped. Finally, he gathered his courage, and approached Lucas... the one man in Wilmington that scared him the most. Fingers tapped nervously on the counter of the studio as he waited, heart leaping into his throat when he finally saw the owner of the business. “Hey, man - don’t, don’t freak, or nothin’... I’m here in peace. I- Is it fine to just talk for a minute?”

Isabel took one last glance at herself in the mirror before grabbing her phone to call for an Uber in order to meet her brother at Hermosa. Truth be told, she didn’t really remember him ever talking about the possibility of being hired at the restaurant, but that was just how Isabel was sometimes... Depending on what she was going through or the occasion, she could only think of herself, which kind of made her rather selfish. So, without remembering that big detail in her brother’s texts, she simply went to see him thinking this was a mere dinner between siblings.

Ever since running into Vivaan, she couldn’t help but feeling rather drained. It shouldn’t have been like that and it definitely shouldn’t have made any difference in her life, but seeing someone so important as he had been certainly pulled some strings in her. Still, she put on a pretty dress and wore her best smile, because Lucas was more important than any of these conflicting emotions.

Finally, once she arrived at Hermosa, she sent him a text to let him know and stepped into the restaurant, figuring it would be safer to wait for her brother inside. Even if it was a safe neighborhood, one could never know. She let the hostess know she was waiting for her party to arrive, since she didn’t know if Lucas had made reservations for them. It didn’t take much longer for her to spot Nito in the distance, so she got up from her seat and smiled, throwing her arms around him. That was her cue to put her problems on hold and focus on Lucas. “Hi, Nito.” Planting a kiss on his cheek, Bel stepped back and then motioned to her outfit. “How do I look? Pretty enough for this place?” She giggled. Isa was always looking for reasons to have her ego fed. “Anyway... should we go in? I can’t wait to hear these big news.”
