Rain Drops and Tea
@lucasdavidscn
Spring had begun a few days ago, bringing with it rain filled clouds that cast shadows all over town and had people huddled inside their home. With a content sigh, he sat in front of the window in the book store that had a view of the outside world. He watched as cars passed by, splashing water against the curb, saw people take shelter in the enclosed bus stop area that had a firmly built waiting area with a roof and seating.
His hands raised a steaming cup of tea to his lips as his blue hues continued to scan the area. He made sure to be careful he didn't spill any hot liquid on himself.
"It's pouring outside," He informed to the only other person in the bookstore with him. "I'm glad you don't have to work in this weather." He continued, gaze shifting to land on his boyfriend, setting aside his mug of tea and unfolding his limbs from where he was perched on the sofa placed for shoppers to stop and read.
The store had its own character, or so Ezekiel thought so. It was painted in warm tones of yellow, orange and brown. It smelled of books, leather and whatever beverage was brewing in the small cafe bar he'd recently put out for clients to buy and enjoy from.
With a hum he got up and made his way towards Luke, his arms stretching out to embrace the other male and hug him close from behind, face burying in the crook of his neck as he let the other's warm smell fill him with a form of joy only he could spark in the blond male.
