The Beginning of Forever

The reception hall was large and open, except for intricate stone pillars lining the borders, which created little pockets of peace in their alcoves. The buffet and drink tables held an extraordinarily admirable spread- anything an attendee could want to eat or drink was there, including items of the hellish variety. A dance floor took up about half of the space, the cracked dark marble floors filled in with lines of glimmering gold to make it perfectly smooth. Benches lined the area for those who wanted to sit, and a few tables with chairs were available as well for anyone who wished to remain more stationary while feasting. Most notably, two intricate thrones sat close together at one end of the hall on a slightly-raised platform, to watch the reception. One had a small bottle of whiskey half-hidden behind it already, in case of emergency.
