aww, thank you!! i’m so glad that people have been enjoying my gifs and tolerating my long-winded commentary, haha! i’ve only been watching wrestling for a little over a year and a half, at this point, and i had absolutely zero background knowledge in it before i got into it (i didn’t grow up with it, and i went from hating it my entire life to becoming absolutely obsessed with it practically overnight lol), so it’s been a bit of a steep learning curve for me! i struggle to recognize moves a lot of the time, and my knowledge of wrestling history is immensely patchy. but i’m constantly trying to work at it and get better, and honestly giffing things has helped me learn a lot!

i sort of treat this blog as a bit of a scrapbook containing all of these pieces of matches and stories that i want to hold onto and remember. wrestling is such a transient medium, and there are so many things happening that will just get forgotten or lost if i don’t record them in some way. for my own sake, at least, i want to keep track of them!

i feel like a lot of the things that i like about wrestling aren’t things that the mainstream wrestling fandom likes about it, and that sometimes makes me feel a bit alienated from it. but there are other fans out there who connect to some of the same things that connect with me, and it’s so cool to see that! i really like creating the kind of content that is the type of stuff that i personally would love to find and read about. it makes me so happy to see that there is an audience for it!

tbh I agree with you on the “no women on 205” thing but I also don’t understand how they’d fit in since (I assume) most women’s wrestlers are under 205 LBs anyways? Maybe they could have like,, a high flyers women division (lacy lane, kacy catanzaro, Candace lerae) or sumn

Yeah it would be difficult to have a separate women’s division on 205 Live even though your high flyers idea sounds pretty good it’s just that whenever I’m watching anything I’m like “Where are the women? Where are the women???” so when it turns out there’s no women it’s a bit disappointing lmao

Although 205 live would probably be the perfect show to introduce intergender wrestling since the size difference wouldn’t be so big I think this will stay only a dream because WWE are kinda cowards and people are staying stupid about that.

Basically I don’t really have a problem with 205 Live for not having women, I just don’t care about men as much as i care about women.
