Funny Fact：If you've ever noticed the scene design in the game, the dining table in the Chaydinhal Sanctuary is always laden with roast wild boar and fine wine. Yet when you visit Lucien in his private quarters, you'll find nothing more than a dilapidated, shabby abandoned bunker—sparse furnishings beyond a single bed, an alchemy table, and a cabinet holding cheap liquor bottles. BTW the subsequent "dead drops" quests let you enter the private residences of nearly every other speakers of his rank, and you'll find that they all reside in duplex villas. I think this is an interesting piece of environmental storytelling, perhaps hinting in some way at Lucien's integrity in his work—he seems to channel most of his income into running the Sanctuary, rather than into personal luxury.

quick fyi: damien is a breton twink in his early 20s - the new listener of the dark brotherhood (he's not a dragonborn btw), who's mostly an alchemist + occasionally a conjuration mage. he poisons people most of the time, but conjures familiars whenever physical combat is unavoidable. he loves his ghost boyfriend so much <3

ive been working on a short one shot for damien/lucien but errrrr im spending way too much time playing skyrim and not enough time finishing the fic... but hopefully soon???
