What if/Au where Kokichi is the ultimate lucky student, but it manifests as luck for the 'greater good', whether or not it's at his own expense. Or he 'absorbs' the bad luck of others.. basically where his luck helps others to his own detriment.(inspired by the ashes of the past au when you said that he got bad luck due to volunteering in place of the luckster)
His name literally means small luck so this is practically canon as far as I’m concerned. Also, I’ve seen a lot of luckster Kokichi AU’s where Kokichi’s luck basically manifests as bad luck because bad luck is basically still luck and based off how the universe treats Kokichi I can definitely see that happening.
Though all the talk about Kokichi having luck that affects him badly but benefits other people makes me think about what would happen if he met Ayumu the SHSL Unlucky student from Re:Birth. Ayumu just being like ‘my luck is so bad it’s considered a talent’ and Kokichi just thinking ‘bitch me too’ though while Kokichi’s luck only negatively affects him and positively affects the ‘greater good’ or good things happen to other people when something bad happens to him like Komaeda in the 2.5 OVA Ayumu’s bad luck not only affects themselves but people around them so much so that the government tried to hire a hitman to go after them.
