In 2015 my husband and I stood 12 hours in the cold rain at #TIFF in Toronto (after having flown there from Montreal) just to get a chance to meet #TomHardy, my favourite actor, for 30 seconds at the red carpet premiere of the movie #Legend. I had never done something so "gutsy" and many told me I was ridiculous or crazy for even thinking I'd get a chance to meet him. But I went there with a mission to meet someone who really inspires me & who is so authentic - authenticity being my biggest value. He was a complete gentleman (helped me snap a 📷 because I was too nervous) and I told myself that I was incredibly lucky to have met him and that he probably would forget who I am after that moment. Those 30 seconds were everything to me. Little did I know back then, that exactly two years later, he would be wearing a T-shirt I made for him with my drawing: "The Legend of Woody" - a gesture from my heart to his, to help him and his family cope with the loss of his dog in June 2017- in a Sky mobile commercial! What a crazy yet wonderful world!! Always do things from the heart people!!
