1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someones eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someones eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
Definitely the latter. Although the first one is pretty difficult, too. I mean, I can make eye contact in a friendly/somewhat professional matter, but when it comes to emotional matters?
2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. WHY were you angry? Do you still feel the same way?
Last semester was fraught with arguments with my then-roommate. Over stupid dramatic stuff, really. I’m still a little bitter about it, to be honest.
3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you tell them?
I’d probably call someone in my family or close circle of friends and tell them that I love them.
4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?
There’s actually this book I read called Deadline that has the same prospect, and I think I’d handle this exactly the same way as the protagonist: don’t tell anyone at first, be a little more courageous when it comes to ridiculous manners, and be scared.
5. You can have one of the following two things. Which do you choose? Why? Love and Trust.
I’d pick Trust. Because without that there isn’t much love. In fact, I think they go hand in hand.
6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?
I like to think I’d at least try to save the dog. But I’d probably end up freezing on the spot.
7. Would you rather be hurt by the one you trust the most or the one you love the most?
I want to say that would be one and the same, but I’d rather get hurt by someone I love, and here’s why; hearts heal but you can’t give/get trust back.
8. Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more than just friendship. He/she is falling in love with you. What do you (or did you) do/say?
“Oh. Um…Well, I can’t say I expected that. The thing is, though, I only like you as a friend.”
9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not?
I’d probably do it. The last person I thought of was my grandpa, and he died about a half hour before I got back from school one day.
10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
I don’t think they’re necessarily attached (like I never got the logic of using sex to bring your boyfriend/girlfriend closer to you), but I imagine they’re both enjoyable.
12.Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?
That’s a hard question. Sure, this new person has a family to support, but what about the state of the economy and all? I think this would be one of those questions I’d only have an answer to if I ever experienced it.
13.When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
I’d rather not talk about it. Meaning I’ve never had a situation like that.
14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite/same sex, you love them or that you do not love them back?
Definitely the latter one. I never really want to (knowingly) break someone’s heart.
15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose?
Probably Tumblr. Because I have a lot of awesome friends here. :)
16. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them. Who were they to you?
I told my family that I loved them last night.
17. If there was one moment and one time in the last month what would you change and why?
Probably that stupid date auction. I let it slip that I can curse in three different languages in a fit of nervous insanity. -_-
18. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not?
I don’t know, really. It’s another one of those, “you’d have to experience it to really know” things.
19.You are holding onto your grandmother’s hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?
Considering that both my grandmothers died fairly early in my life, I think I’d choose to save the newborn. As much as I love my grandmothers, it wouldn’t be fun holding a corpse’s hand.
20. Are you old fashioned?
When it comes to a few things, yeah. Like I hold the door open for people and always try to be polite.
21. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?
There was this one time I managed to cheer up someone who auditioned for a show (he was saying that he sort of sucked, and I basically said, “No you didn’t suck.” He seemed pretty happy about that).
22. Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?
Probably that first thing, because then I’d have really good memories to look back on. Sure, I may be broken hearted, but at least I knew it was real.
23. If you could do anything or wish anything, what would it be?
I’d want to fly anywhere I want to.
