this is like- the funniest thing to ever happen to me

but YEARS ago there was this post going around about wedding rings and Loes and I promptly decided to choose these:

for our wedding rings - because we're klainers and "puzzle piece" was sort of a thing in fandom way back when and we didn't want anything big or flashy and these were pretty and meaningful to us.

so we ordered them, and you could have them engraved, and instead of dates or names we had both of them engraved with "If I didn't have you..." which is a reference to the Tim Minchin song by the same name which in my humble opinion is the most romantic song in existence and I do NOT mean this ironically btw

and today my now-wife for some reason apparently googled "puzzle piece rings" and look what comes up on the website where we ordered them

THEY USED OUR RINGS FOR STOCK PHOTOS AND NOW ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE LOOKING AT THESE RINGS THINKING OH! "IF I DIDN'T HAVE YOU" THAT IS SO ROMANTIC - NOT KNOWING THAT THE THREE DOTS STAND FOR "SOMEONE ELSE WOULD DO"

and today was Second Vaccination Day so I'm tired

my favorite thing to do is save up funny tumblr posts and showing them to my wife and just watching her face journey as she reads/watches and reaches the punch line and it's just *chef's kiss*

I need to clean the garage. I've needed to clean the garage for A While. But tomorrow we're going to the recycling park so I need to sort what needs to go and what needs to stay. It's just... A little daunting to start on.

In unrelated news we got tickets for Darren’s last performance in LA.

it went a lot easier than I feared considering the panic attack I had after finding out “playing Hedwig the month of november in LA” did not mean “playing Hedwig until the 30th of november in LA” and realizing we’re only arriving on the 26th

but yeah

so if anyone around there remembers I used to be here, let me know, maybe we can meet up :)
