Lucy Fields x Robbins!Sister!Reader - Grey's Anatomy
A/n: Agents of Shield references to be found, clue: think Mockingbird
"So, how long have you been screwing Robbins' younger sister?" Karev asked as he lifted a fry to his mouth. His focus on his lunch meant that he didn't see Arizona's confusion or Callie's shock. He did hear, however, Lucy choking on her lunch.
"Excuse me, what?" Arizona exclaimed, leaving Alex to look up as he chewed on the fry, watching Lucy sip her water after she stopped choking.
"Fields didn't tell you she's been screwing one and a half lung?" Alex replied, shrinking in his seat at the dark glare that Lucy was sending him.
"Sorry..." He mumbled, twirling a fry in his fingers as he went slightly pale.
"You're an ass." She growled, almost throwing the rest of her lunch on him, "and for the record, her name is Y/n." Lucy snapped before she realised that Arizona was sat there the entire time and heard everything.
Lucy was gone, leaving Arizona trying to figure out what had just happened.
"What did you just call my sister?" Arizona began, anger in her tone but Alex had a mouth full of fries and fear on his face at that point.
"Your sister and Fields? Since when were they a thing?" Callie asked, leaving Alex to open his mouth but Callie shooed him away.
"I have no idea. She never said anything." Arizona admitted, immediately opening her phone to see if she had any new messages from you.

As soon as Lucy ditched her lunch, she knew she had to find you in the hospital before Arizona or Alex did.
You had an appointment booked in the afternoon for a check-up on your respiratory system after the surgery that removed half of one of your lungs. That meant you were in down in the cardio lab.
By the time Lucy arrived, you were on the treadmill, having your oxygen levels monitored as you jogged.
"Hey, how are you doing?" Lucy enquired, walking over to stand next to the treadmill as you slowed down.
"Oxygen levels are looking good, Y/n, do you want to try go a little faster?" The doctor asked, leaving you to nod after leaning over to hold Lucy's hand. You smiled, despite how you were panting, as she brought your wrist up to her lips and kissed it before letting you continue jogging.
Breaking into a run, your face fell as you met a certain person's eyes through the window.
"Arizon-AH!" You yelled as you stumbled, falling off the treadmill, to everyone's horror.
"Y/n!" Lucy exclaimed, hurrying over to where you had landed as Arizona ran in.
You hissed as you sat up, having landed on your ass after hitting your knee on the treadmill in the fall.
"That is a nasty graze, ba-" Lucy began before she met Arizona's gaze.
"Do not babe her, do not babe my baby sister, the baby of the family-"
"Can we focus on how I fell off the treadmill and not my relationship, please?" You wheezed, alarming Lucy as she looked towards the doctor who had been monitoring your lungs.
"I don't see any physiological explanation for the wheezing, your lungs and heart are fine." The doctor rattled off, checking your chart after looking at your vitals, whilst Arizona and Lucy tried to help you.
"She had severe asthma as a child but hasn't needed an inhaler in years..." Arizona began to explain but you just gave Lucy a panicked look.
"She's having a panic attack now, but she thinks she was starting to have an asthma attack on the treadmill." Lucy whispered to Arizona before she tried to get your attention. "Y/n, where's your inhaler? Is it in your bag?" Lucy was about to get up and check but you clung to her, your hands on her forearms as your back leaned against her front.
You missed Arizona's face falling as she watched you and Lucy interacting. Helping you with your inhaler was something she used to do with you when the two of you were younger.
"Doctor Robbins. Arizona! Y/n's inhaler is in her bag." Lucy's voice broke Arizona out of her thoughts as she saw the look on Lucy's face. It was you her eyes then landed on, as you curled further into Lucy's arms, struggling to breathe.
At least you still used the same bag that Arizona had gotten you for Christmas a few years ago. Your inhaler sat in one of the pockets as Arizona glanced over it in confusion. It was a new prescription.
"Y/n, Y/n, here. Come on ba- Y/n." Lucy corrected herself, feeling Arizona's eyes on her as she helped you sit up and take a puff from the inhaler.
"We all thought she grew out of the asthma..." Arizona admitted, avoiding your eyes as you tried to look at her. It was only when you reached out to grab her hand that she looked at you.
"The symptoms started up after she had the half of her lung removed." Lucy explained, running her fingers over your scalp as you leaned into her.
"Hey you..." you murmured, smiling as Lucy looked down at you with a grin, "hey, Arizona..." you caught your sister's eye as she gave you a soft smile.
"You really scared us, you know." Arizona stated, leaving you to sigh, shivering for a moment before you tugged at the hoodie sticking out of your bag.
"I wondered where that one went..." Lucy admitted, chuckling as you held the hoodie in your arms, cuddling it.
"You two are a cute couple. It's too bad I had to hear about you two from Karev. I mean, Karev, of all people." Arizona grumbled, leaving you to glare at the floor at the mention of Karev.
"Karev's an ass. We were going to tell you, by asking you and Callie to come over for dinner tomorrow night, but Karev saw us talking, and holding hands, and he calls me one and a half lung, which, yeah, is true, but it's hurtful too." You explained, your breath still wheezy, leaving Lucy and Arizona to frown.
"Did he call you that to your face?"
You weren't sure if Arizona or Lucy had asked that, but the answer was still the same.
"No, I passed him in a corridor, talking to an intern." You replied, tensing as you realised where you were.
"We're still in the lab, you two are supposed to be working. Don't you two have surgeries or something?" You exclaimed, trying to stand up but Lucy didn't let go of you as Arizona gave you a stern look.
"You had a panic attack but your brain tricked itself into thinking it was an asthma attack, Y/n." Arizona stated, leaving you to nod before pulling Lucy's hoodie on over your head.
It was a pager that ruined the moment, leaving Lucy to hurry out with a kiss to your forehead whilst Arizona took over watching you. The cardio doctor was nowhere to be seen at this point, having stepped out earlier, you assumed.
"How long have you been seeing Callie's OB?" Arizona's voice was soft as you met her eyes. Were you afraid? She wondered as she noticed how glassy your eyes were.
"We've been dating for nearly 6 months." You explained, almost talking into your knee instead of towards Arizona until you shuffled over when Arizona opened her arms.
"She knows about the surgery. Does she know-" Arizona began, wrapping her arm around you as you leaned into her.
"She knows I got shot and ended up losing half of one of my lungs. She knows I underwent rehabilitation to adjust and she's been there for me." You explained, playing with her fingers as your focus went to your sister's hand.
"What did Karev say to piss both you and Lucy off?" You quietly asked, looking up at Arizona grimaced.
"Well, he started off asking how long Lucy had been screwing Robbins' younger sister. Lucy choked on her lunch then gave Karev a glare that could rival Bailey. Then he turns to me and asks if I knew, refering to you as that horrid nickname. I thought Lucy was going to dump the rest of her lunch on him. Instead she called him an ass and said your name." You paused at that, realising something.
"I didn't think you two even knew each other existed until Lucy knew your name and it made sense. Although Karev refering to the two of you as screwing-"
"I am not having this conversation... ha! Saved by the pager!" You exclaimed as Arizona was being paged.
"Oh, we're having this conversation later, and if you won't with me, you're getting Callie!" Arizona playfully threatened, leaving you to grimace.
"Fuck." You muttered to yourself as Arizona headed to the lab exit.
"Language!"
You grimaced even more at that.

"Y/n! Y/n, wait!" Karev's voice had you glaring into space before you turned on your heel, raising an eyebrow at the resident.
"Can I help you?" You tilted your head to the side, folding your arms.
"I, uh, wanted to apologise." Karev began, pausing as he spotted Arizona and Lucy watching him, along with Callie and Bailey.
"For... there's more than one thing you need to apologise for." You replied, leaving Karev to sigh.
"I'm sorry for calling you one and a half lung and outing your relationship with Fields to Doctor Robbins." Karev apologised, leaving you to shrug.
"Whatever. I have to go, I'm needed in psych." You replied, leaving Karev to frown.
"Why are you needed in psych?" Karev asked, making you realise what he was thinking.
"I'm a psych resident, Karev." You deadpanned, leaving him to freeze as he saw how Lucy and Arizona were glaring.
"You look terrified, Lucy and Arizona are glaring at you, aren't they?"
Karev nodded at that, his eyes drifting to you as you grinned.
"Good. You should be glad it's not Bailey." You retorted before turning on your heel to leave.
"Your sister is a psych resident?" Alex immediately turned to where Arizona, Callie and Lucy stood. Bailey had left to prep for a surgery.
"Yeah, she is." Arizona smiled, whilst Lucy smirked at Alex's face.
Alex Karev knew from that moment, he was screwed.
