Lucy

Lucy works as a nurse and assistant in the lab, and helped raise Andle there for most of her life. The two get along fine, as she is not strict like some of the other researchers, but she is firm and doesn’t give Andle any more information than she needs to know. Lucy knows all the inner workings of the lab, and has friends in every department in case she needs a favor.

She is also involved in running the largest church in the country, celebrating the spread of the invasive plant forests as the earth reverting itself to the perfect conditions for Jesus’ rebirth. When Greenburg arrives, she is instantly won over by his story of Avigail being the second coming. She uses her influence at the lab to give them a good backstory for his origins, and convinces her church to sponsor their miracle baby and present him to the world in their name.

She does not get along with Judith, as the two have crossed paths before with their religious beliefs and also through her refusing to grant Judith unwarranted information about the Lab and Ryusaki.
