Let Me In || Lucy & Malcom
“Go away.” The constant pounded at his front door was driving Malcom insane. Yes, he had basically jumped off the face of the planet two days ago-- Fuck, had it really been two days? Since hearing the words ‘something has happened to your brother’ from Castalia Valiente herself, Malcom knew that any semblance of a life he once had was gone. He was alpha now and that meant he couldn’t carry on like he usually did. But that didnt mean he had to spring into action right away, did it? Whether he had to take responsibility or not, Malcom knew he wasn’t ready, and that was why he had been locked away in his house the last two days with out a word to anyone.
Bang, Bang, Bang! With the amount of alcohol Malcom had been drinking, the incentive banging was like brass knuckles to the skull. Drinking was probably the last thing the werewolf should have been doing, but when did he ever make the right, matured decision. You’ll never be the alpha Conor was, a voice told him, reminding him why he had picked the bottle up in the first place. Being alpha was the last thing Malcom ever wanted, and he had gotten it by having his brother die-- Alcohol spat out of the brunette’s mouth, soaking the table in front of him. Since hearing of his brother’s death, Malcom had refused to think about it, and it was striking with a vengeance.
BANG, BANG, BANG! “For fuck’s sake!” Malcom yelled, pushing out of his seat and stocking his way towards the front door to tell whoever it was to leave him the fuck alone. Swinging the door open, the werewolf opened his mouth to spit out a few choice words when he stopped in his tracks. It was like everything stopped when he realized it was her, taking in the hurt expression on her face. Just like the rest of them, you slept with her and left. Guilt took root in the pit of Malcolm’s stomach as he remembered what happened before his life came crashing down at the news of his brother a few days ago. What had started off as a great weekend with Lucy had quickly turned into one he had wished to forget, making him completely forget about their night together. “Lucy-- Shit, I’m sorry.”
