Mmm, since it’s happened several times recently I’m going with how people other than friends and family misunderstand how to approach me about my leg situation–people who barely know me/don’t know me give me those tiresome lingering side-eyes and then just up and ask about why I have a cane, and more and more I’m just really not in moods to satiate their curiosity about it when more often than not it’s just surface “I’m going to forget this information almost as soon as I hear it” intrigue. I have too much traumatic stress wrapped up in it to give overview sketches to people who either can’t understand or willfully misunderstand how severe my condition is, plus oh my god please stop suggesting procedures I can try I literally just said how I’ve been dealing with this for over ten years do you think we haven’t exhausted possibilities

 I definitely believe there’s stuff goin’ on in the world that we don’t necessarily notice or understand, and I have a couple of compulsive habits to tamp down anxiety over personal beliefs about certain things, but I’m not superstitious in the classical sense; not gonna lose sleep over a broken mirror, for instance!

Zombie:What is one food you always overeat? 

Mint ice cream that has Oreos in it. I always have to dig deeper into the container for that one delicious looking bit with the giant cookie chunk and my bowl becomes shamefully full >>;
