Her once truly beloved Luda. She is now a toy that is brought out and played with when Cora finds nothing else. To Cora, the twins were destined to only ever be one person. The fact that Mae took her own life is proof enough to her. Now, it is up to Luda to join her after fulfilling Fate’s desires, to join their souls together, as they were originally intended to be. She is left in this world, though, while Mae’s half of the soul is left waiting to be reunited with the missing piece Luda carries. As the young girl walks in this life, her aura has stayed a consistent color, only changing fairly recently.
Cora has grown familiar with the poor color of her energy. It’s a darkened yellow, splintered with brown, reminding one of a yellow marker that winds up in the hands of an uncaring child that decides to roll it in the black strokes of a coloring book. It represents Luda’s struggles with pressure to achieve, her bout of depression when it comes to everyday life, and the tiresome weight of all of it that weighs her down. Though, as mentioned before, there has been a recent shift that she has only noticed the last few days.
Instead of a muddied color, there is paleness. It remains yellow, but there is a softness to it. It’s dim, but it has potential to grow. It is a renewed sense of life peeking beneath the surface, and it piques Cora’s curiosity.
