excuse me youre stealing my cabbabe :/
Mikleo rarely finds the time to get out of District 2. Why, he’s a busy student, and he mostly lives off the Chinese food from where he works to go anywhere else, anyway. Truthfully speaking, he’s already used to this, but going back to the dorms with Chinese take out and finding his room empty on a daily basis becomes kind of lonely at one point. Mikleo thinks it’s not really because he’s alone; maybe doing something else that isn’t part of what’s been become his daily routine would do him good. Specifically, eating something that isn’t Chinese and isn’t a take out.
Yeah, Chinese food is why he’s sad.
Mikleo decides to visit the marketplace outside the city when the weekend hits. He hasn’t tasted his own cooking, and though outside the city would be a little costly, the goods sold in the marketplace is worth it anyway.
Shopping could’ve gone smoothly, without incident, with Mikleo leaving the marketplace with bags filled with ingredients he’s set on cooking once he gets home, but the cabbages just have to run out and the university student finds himself fighting for the only cabbage left in the whole place.
“Okay, but I’m pretty sure I saw it first, and I really need this one.”
He tugs on green ball of leaves that still lay on the cabbage stand. Both him and the stranger refuse to let either take off with it.
“Can’t you just let me have it?”
Seriously, what the hell.
