best case scenario Pixels [2015] gets remembered in a similar way as Steven Universe: a movie that was Really Fucking Good and had nuanced characters and interesting things to say, but the audience wasn't quite ready for it and it imploded into a discourse ball. four years from now I expect to see lesbians drawing Ludlow Lamonsoff like he's a renaissance muse the same way people still draw Pearl or Lapis

it's such a good movie oh my goddddddddddd

unfortunately according to the credits they didn't actually get the guy that made Pac-Man to play himself but the stunning rest of the movie makes up for it

(also the end credits that recap the movie with pixel art??? and the song that goes with it???? EXQUISITE!!!!!!!!)
