The seasons didn’t bother her exactly, but she wished spring would hurry up and get here so the amount of fauna beneath the waves would increase. Honestly she thought she’d already made a sizeable dent in the marine life around here, it wasn’t her fault if it had lasting consequences; they should not have confined her to such a small area.
Still, the mix was quite curious. Many species she’d never expect to find in one place. And though there was much on offer, there was still a distinct lack of whales... Well, she had another colossal nets worth of varied sea life so she was journeying back to the shore to sort through what she had captured.
She started to crest the water further out than usual, there had been something she’d intended to check at this distance; perhaps the little knight’s vessel might have appeared by now. Distracted by these thoughts she hadn’t paid much mind to a slightly darker shape on the wave, and something promptly collided with one of her eyes moments after she broke the surface. Luckily she had two others on the same side and saw a now tumbling figure. She caught them in her hand as the top half of her body towered out of the water.
There was no uncertain irritation on her features, but it didn’t last. She made no move to hold this... Human (probably) in her hand, simply provide a platform for the time being.
“Well, how careless of me, I do apologise.”
“I’m afraid I didn’t see you or your...” She looked around and saw the shape floating in the water. “Craft.”
