Marco isn’t obliged to leave Jackie to be on Mewni. I don’t think that Jackie would agree to live there as Marco - I think she is more attached to Earth - but she could love Mewni. Of course Jackie wouldn’t always be there but she could be involved in the adventures of Star, Tom and Marco.
Star and Tom from this dimension - have magic and Marco and Jackie from Earth - fight with weapons.
Although, I think, Jackie would prefer to solve problems peacefully Marco could teach her to fight with swords (like Connie, lol).
In general, I know this is not a canon, but AUes exist to change it.
